I worked with Ben for over five years while managing the marketing team and he served as Design Lead. He has a rare ability to translate complex or vague ideas into visuals that feel professional, engaging, and true to the brand. He refreshed our 35+ year-old identity with care, supported everything from UI and video to animation, photography, and motion graphics, and brought creativity, positivity, and collaboration to every project.

As the art director for Team Wood Games, Ben brought a tactful leadership style, a masterful understanding of User Experience, and strong illustration and design skills to our team. He reinvented our art style, created an approachable guide for future artists, designed key assets, and reorganized our workflow in a way that kept the team focused and improved production.

Ben is a great artist and a very pleasant person to work with. He took many vague art prompts and surprised me with creative results. Super Auto Pets would not look as good as it does today without his efforts. He can take an idea and run with it, contributed heavily to another unreleased game's theme and artistic concept, and is also a genuinely kind person.

If you're old enough to remember the 80's show, Doogie Howser MD, that's Ben Lords, except he's the young wunderkind of all things Photo/video/graphics/ and web. Also wise beyond his years, you can't ask for a better creative to work with on any type of project you could possibly have.

Ben is a great talent, I really mean that... Most of my students that come through don't have a fraction of his talent, and I'm excited to see where he goes. I expect greatness!

Ben Lords is more than just a talented art director; he is a kind individual, an incredible illustrator; helpful and proactive, whose work exceeds expectations in every aspect. He was a true teacher, showing the way for me and the other illustrators on the team. Ben recently created a video production for us. As is typical in production, we found ourselves on a tight timeline with grand expectations. Ben calmly went to work and delivered creativity and quality far beyond what we could have expected in that time. He has incredible talent, but he is also responsible and completely dependable. Without hesitation, Ben Lords is the real deal, the whole package, and someone I was privileged to work with.

Ben Lords has the vision for where he wants to go, coupled with the drive and determination to get there. Ben has impressed me with his Drive, Professionalism, and leadership. Despite his congested schedule, Ben continuously exceeds the norm in his dedication and typically eclipses expectations. He is attentive to his work and has a contagiously forward-thinking attitude.

I had the great pleasure of working closely with Ben for several years on our marketing team, where we collaborated on brand style guides, webpages, billboards, flyers, SEO-friendly layouts, and content hierarchy. He consistently brought copy to life through clear, visually appealing design. Ben is an exceptionally talented designer and organized teammate who is easy to collaborate with and delivers high-quality work on tight deadlines.
