The Short Version
I’m Ben Lords, a Utah-based designer, animator, photographer, and creative director. I’ve worked across brand, product, web, motion, illustration, photography, video, and marketing, but the throughline has always been the same: helping ideas feel clearer, stronger, and more worth paying attention to.
Over the years I’ve worked as an art director, lead product designer, marketing manager, commercial photographer, project manager, and college professor. That range taught me to find the real problem, clear the roadblocks, and make the work stronger without making the process heavier than it needs to be.

I like getting close enough to a problem to see what is actually in the way, then making the work simpler, sharper, and easier to use. Sometimes that means finding a new direction. Sometimes it means fixing the part everyone has learned to work around.
