The Platform
CodeChangers is a STEM education platform built around helping students learn coding concepts through approachable lessons, projects, and challenges. This case study focuses on the brand and product work that helped the experience feel more adventurous, more organized, and more engaging for younger learners.
The project combined brand design and UX strategy, educational product design, motion graphics, and gamified learning concepts into a single platform direction.

Product and Learning Challenge
Coding education can quickly become abstract. Students need clear lessons, visible progress, approachable language, and a reason to keep going. The interface and brand needed to make technical learning feel like a path through a world, not just a list of assignments.
The system had to make progress obvious without making the platform feel like a standard school portal with game elements added on top.

Brand System and Interface Tone
The visual system uses bright color, character-driven illustration, badges, maps, and course graphics to create a sense of momentum. Rather than feeling like a traditional school portal, the platform could feel like a set of quests connected by learning goals.
The design work balanced play with clarity. Navigation, course structure, and lesson visuals still needed to support students, teachers, and program goals without becoming distracting.

Gamified Curriculum Direction
Map assets, badges, sidequest visuals, and lesson graphics helped turn progress into something students could see. This kind of gamification works best when it reinforces learning rather than covering it up, so the visuals were designed to support curriculum structure.
The result is a platform direction that feels more memorable while still being rooted in practical coding education.

The finished direction connected the brand, lesson structure, illustration, and motion into a platform that made coding feel more approachable without hiding the curriculum underneath it.
